Three-way tie in Block A and four-way tie in Block B after NJPW Super Jr. Tag League Night Three
KUSHIDA and Nick Wayne joined the Block A leaders at Korakuen Hall, Místico and Masatora Yasuda upset the former leaders, and a slapped-away hand exposed cracks in United Empire's team.

Korakuen Hall logjam
Night Three of the NJPW Super Junior Tag League 2026 turned both blocks into a logjam on Monday morning at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, where 1,132 fans watched seven matches air live on NJPW World. With three rounds complete, no team has pulled away from the field, and only one team in the twelve-team field is still without a win. The show opened with Young Lions Taisei Nakahara defeating Yushin Hatazawa with a Boston Crab in 6:36.
In Block A, three teams now sit tied on four points, while the other three are all on two points. In Block B, four teams are tied on four points at the top, one team has two points and one team is still searching for its first win. With each team scheduled to wrestle only five matches, the two remaining rounds will decide which teams reach the finals at Power Struggle on November 3.
Block A: Time Splitters V2 join the leaders

KUSHIDA and Nick Wayne, competing as Time Splitters V2, continued their climb up Block A with their second straight victory, defeating Master Wato and KUUKAI in 8:28. Wayne's Wayne's World fadeaway stunner swung the momentum, and KUSHIDA finished KUUKAI with the Back to the Future small package driver after the two had traded roll-ups. The win moved KUSHIDA and Wayne to 2-1 and four points, level with the teams at the top of the block, while Wato and KUUKAI slipped to 1-2 and two points.
HOUSE OF TORTURE's DOUKI and Yoshinobu Kanemaru also reached four points, beating Ryusuke Taguchi and Kazuma Sumi in 12:27. Kanemaru sprayed whiskey into Sumi's eyes before DOUKI pinned him with a bridging dragon suplex. Taguchi and Sumi fell to 1-2 and two points.
The main event produced the biggest upset of the night in Block A. Místico and Masatora Yasuda defeated Taiji Ishimori and Robbie X in 14:41, with Místico forcing Robbie X to submit to his La Mistica arm lock. The result handed Ishimori and Robbie X their first defeat and dropped them from outright leaders into the three-way tie on four points. For Místico and Yasuda, it was a first victory of the tournament, moving them to 1-2 and two points. Yasuda is a late replacement for the injured El Desperado, who had been scheduled to team with Místico, the reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.
Block B: four-way tie and a partnership cracks

Block B opened with a statement from The Swirl, as Blake Christian and Lee Johnson defeated Titan and Daiki Nagai in 10:58. The Swirl tied Nagai in the Tree of Woe, took the fight to the floor with dives onto Titan, and finished Nagai with their Brainrot double-team manoeuvre. The win moved Christian and Johnson to 2-1 and four points, joining the four-way tie at the top of the block, while Titan and Nagai fell to 0-3, the only winless team left in the tournament.
YOH and Hyo then joined that leading group by beating United Empire's Francesco Akira and Jakob Austin Young in 10:34, YOH cradling Young for the win with a small package after Akira accidentally almost kicked his own partner. It was Akira and Young's first defeat of the tournament, overshadowed by what happened after the bell. Akira berated Young, offered his hand and said he had tried to help him, only for Young to slap the hand away, shout back about how many times he had saved his partner, and walk away with Zane Jay following him while Akira left by a separate entrance. It was a visible fracture in a team that had already shown tension earlier in the tournament, but it is not a confirmed split, and both men remain tied on four points with the rest of the Block B leaders.
The Block B picture tightened further when HOUSE OF TORTURE's SHO and Dick Togo defeated Robbie Eagles and Kosei Fujita, the Ichiban Sweet Boys, in 15:45. The longest match of the night ended chaotically, with the referee knocked down, a chain involved, and SHO striking Eagles with the team's stuffed mascot before the pin. The win gave SHO and Togo their first victory of the tournament, moving them to 1-2 and two points, while Eagles and Fujita stayed on four points despite the defeat, still part of the four-way tie at the top alongside YOH and Hyo, Akira and Young, and The Swirl.
Standings and what comes next
After Night Three, Block A reads: Taiji Ishimori and Robbie X, DOUKI and Yoshinobu Kanemaru, and KUSHIDA and Nick Wayne all sit on 2-1 with four points, while Ryusuke Taguchi and Kazuma Sumi, Master Wato and KUUKAI, and Místico and Masatora Yasuda are all on 1-2 with two points. In Block B, Robbie Eagles and Kosei Fujita, Blake Christian and Lee Johnson, YOH and Hyo, and Francesco Akira and Jakob Austin Young are all on 2-1 with four points, SHO and Dick Togo are on 1-2 with two points, and Titan and Daiki Nagai are on 0-3 with no points.
That shape makes the remaining rounds compelling. No team is undefeated, no team has broken clear, and with only two matches left for each pairing, a single loss could end a team's hopes while a single win could lift a team from the middle of the pack into the lead. The tournament continues on Tuesday in Ibaraki. For KUSHIDA and Wayne, the task is to keep a winning run going. For Akira and Young, the task is just as clear: prove that a slapped-away hand was a moment of frustration rather than the beginning of the end.
