Nolan TKOs Moicano in Round 3 at UFC Fight Night 292
Julian Erosa ended his career with a 91-second comeback knockout of JeongYeong Lee at UFC Fight Night 292.

Nolan stuns Moicano in the main event

LAS VEGAS — UFC Fight Night 292 delivered its most memorable moment long before the main event at Meta APEX on Saturday, 31 October 2026, when Julian Erosa closed his career with a comeback knockout. The rest of the confirmed card, shown on Paramount+ in the United States, mixed late stoppages, doctor interventions and hard-earned decisions — and the main event ended in a stunning upset, as Tom Nolan stopped Renato Moicano by TKO at 1:28 of Round 3.
Moicano took the opening round behind a takedown and back control, but Nolan answered in the second, hurting the Brazilian with a knee and scoring a takedown of his own. In the third, Nolan's striking took over: he landed clean combinations, forced Moicano to scramble, and finished him with elbows and punches at 1:28, handing the former title challenger a stoppage defeat in Nolan's first UFC main event. The co-main event was one-sided: Jacobe Smith beat Randy Brown by unanimous decision, 30-26 on all three cards, after dropping Brown and controlling long stretches on the ground.
Erosa writes his own ending

Erosa's retirement fight against JeongYeong Lee looked lost almost as soon as it began. Lee stormed out, landed a huge punch and nearly finished the veteran inside the first minute. Instead, Erosa survived, got back into the firefight and dropped Lee with a clean shot before finishing him with ground strikes at 1:31 of Round 1, officially recorded as a knockout by punches.
The 37-year-old had said beforehand that this would be his last fight whatever happened, and he kept that promise in the cage, removing his gloves and laying them in the centre of the Octagon. In his post-fight interview with Daniel Cormier, he said: "I feel so amazing. I knew this was going to be my last fight, so I wanted to go out with a bang. I want to do this tomorrow, but I had to make the decision that was going to be my last fight, win, lose or draw. And I'm happy with that."
It was a fitting close for a fighter with three UFC stints and a reputation for defying the odds as an underdog. Lee was left with a third straight defeat, while Erosa walked away on his own terms, sharing the moment with his wife and child.
Late finishes on the prelims
Lucia Szabová opened the night in the women's flyweight division and stopped Tainara Lisboa by TKO with ground strikes at 3:20 of Round 3. Piera Rodriguez then pitched a shutout against Talita Alencar in the women's strawweight division, winning by unanimous decision, 30-27 on all three cards. The UFC's recap noted that Rodriguez's superior striking output proved the difference, taking her career record to 13-2.
Joseph Kropschot submitted Nick Klein with an inverted triangle armbar at 1:25 of Round 2. Zachary Reese then beat Mickey Gall by unanimous decision, 29-27 on all three cards.
Rodrigo Sezinando's win over Theodor Berggren came in more painful fashion. After a big elbow at the end of Round 2, the doctor assessed a cut that had split Berggren's upper lip. There was no Round 3: the fight was stopped by TKO on a doctor's stoppage, officially recorded at 5:00 of Round 2. Dakota Hope then edged Francis Marshall by split decision, 28-29, 29-28 and 29-28, in a catchweight bout at 148 pounds.
Decisions and a doctor's stoppage on the main card
The main card opened with another stoppage caused by damage rather than a single decisive blow. Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani beat Farman Hasanov by TKO at 2:11 of Round 3 after referee Dan Miragliotta paused the fight so the Octagonside physician could inspect a cut across almost the entirety of Hasanov's left eyelid. The doctor recommended the fight be stopped, giving Lebosnoyani the first stoppage victory of his UFC career and taking his UFC record to 3-0 and his career record to 12-2.
Luana Santos then beat Yana Santos by unanimous decision, 29-28 on all three cards. Luana's takedowns and back control proved decisive, as she repeatedly tripped Yana and took the back to control the second and third rounds.
Cody Durden added a wrestling-led unanimous-decision win over Ode' Osbourne, again 29-28 on all three cards, on the main card. Durden's takedowns and top control set the tone early, Osbourne found success with back control in the final round, but Durden did enough across fifteen minutes to earn the decision.
A card that delivered twice
UFC Fight Night 292, also billed as UFC Vegas 123, produced two clear stories: a beloved veteran got the ending he wanted, and an underdog headliner announced himself with a stoppage of a former title challenger. Two fights were ended by doctors protecting fighters from bad cuts, and the rest of the card rewarded pressure, wrestling and composure under fire — but Erosa's 91-second farewell and Nolan's third-round finish will be difficult for anything on the night to top.
